Offer in Compromise Tax Settlement
An Offer in Compromise is a settlement with the IRS that allows you to pay less than what you owe, and walk away from the rest. Generally, the IRS will accept a settlement through the Offer in Compromise if you can convince them that the amount you are offering is the most that they could expect to collect from you through other means.

About Me
I was born and raised in Colorado and completed my undergraduate studies at Colorado State University in 1996. I graduated with honors and then attended the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado where I received my Juris Doctorate in 1999. I passed the Colorado Bar Exam in 2000.
Right out of school I focused on bankruptcy, family law and construction law. I am a member of the American Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association. I am licensed in US District Court and US Tax Court.
In mid-2003 I took a position with one of the largest tax resolution firms in the industry. Dismayed at how the company treated its clients and in fear of losing my license to practice law for the things they were asking me to do, I left and co-founded my own taxpayer defense firm in late 2004.
I have a special connection to small businesses and a strong desire to see them succeed. My firm is a small business. I know the challenges you as a small business owner face because I deal with them every day just like you. A large portion of my practice is focused on business tax law and the resolution of tax disputes and controversies that all small businesses face. I enjoy nothing more than helping a small business get back on its feet and then setting them up correctly so they pay less taxes moving forward.
I currently reside with my family in Boulder Colorado. My family and I enjoy all of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, including camping, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding and running.
